CFARE Worked in collaboration with Forbes Marshall till 2015. We conducted activities for children and community outreach program under CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) in four communities of Pimpri Chinchwad, Bopkhel community, Nehru Nagar, Morwadi community and Kasarwadi. Later in 2015 we started Rainbow Day Care Centre.
Activities for children in collaboration with Forbes Marshall:

Our Programs
Rainbow Day Care Centre
As rightly said, “old age is the most unexpected of the things that can happen to a human being”. Rapid globalization and the pace of life leave little or no time for the younger generation to look after their parents who are slowly growing old. Even the elderly are under increasing fear of unexpected and sudden transformations that may occur in their life and in turn in their daily routine.
To address these issues CFARE came up with its project called “Rainbow Day Care Centre” for senior citizens. It will be a tiny way out for the elderly to lead a peaceful and happy life.
Rainbow Day Care Centre has been created for the senior citizens in our society who stay alone at home when their children are away or at work. Amidst the old-age homes all around the city, the idea of starting a daycare centre for senior citizens was a very unique concept and we are happy that it was very well accepted by the people.
Senior Citizens who join our centre often have hearing problems, eyesight problems, joint pains, sometimes neurological problems, depression, Alzheimer, dementia, paralysis, etc.
Through our program, we look into their emotional needs as the primary ones, further timely nutritious meals, and medicines, a sense of acknowledgment, a very empathetic ear, individual attention, a sense of safety, and togetherness.
While we offer an all-day-long structured program for the elderlies their families ensure that the elderly are in safe hands and well taken care of when they are away. Especially their meals, medicine timings, and good company of their age group. Another important point we and family consider here together is that the elderly come to our centre willingly.
Records are maintained with all the necessary details of all the senior citizens in which their personal, doctor’s, and family’s contact details are mentioned. Thus, in case of any emergency, we first call their family members, then doctors and if needed we take them to a nearby hospital.
